Amber (August) Angelica, of Rockville passed away at the age of 78, on Tuesday (February 21, 2012) peacefully at home. Amber was born on April 26, 1933 in Enfield, CT a daughter of the late William “Chick” and Dorothy (Hayward) August. She attended local schools in Enfield then continued her education at Asnuntuck Community College and Bay Path College. She had resided in Enfield for 25 years and then in the Rockville section of Vernon. Prior to retiring in 1992 Amber was employed for 23 years with Emhart Glass Co. She was a member of the Art Guild of Vernon and NE Historic Genealogy Society. Amber had a passion for dogs, playing the piano and singing, she was a talented artist, enjoyed gardening and being at the beach. Amber is survived by her children; Donna Consiglio of Neshanic Station, NJ, Steven Angelica of Bridgewater, NJ and Asa Button of Rockville, CT, her beloved grandchildren; Angelica Consiglio of Jersey City, NJ, Dominick Consiglio of W. Long Branch, NJ, Ashley Consiglio of New York, NY, Richard Fitzpatrick Angelica of Bound Brook, NJ, Michael Fitzpatrick Angelica of Raritan, NJ, Nicholas Fitzpatrick Angelica of Springfield, MA and Jason Roy of Rockville, CT, her two sisters; Deanna Bennenkade and Phyllis Conley both of Enfield along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband of 25 years Sebastian “Buzzy” Angelica, a son Michael Angelica, two brothers; William August and Charles August and a sister; Barbara Patingre. There are no calling hours, funeral service and burial in the Hazardville Cemetery will be private at the convenience of her family.
