Ann (Duggan) Daly, of Enfield, passed away on May 3, 2014. She was born on, June 3, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Wallace) Duggan. Ann was predeceased by her husband Francis M. Daly. They were married for 56 years. Ann grew up in Windsor Locks, attended Saint Mary School and graduated from Windsor Locks High School, Class of 1946. Ann worked for the State of Connecticut until her retirement in 1986. She later worked for the Archdiocese of Hartford. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Ann is survived by her children, Michael Daly of California, the Reverend Shawn Daly of Wethersfield, Bridget Clark and her husband, Mark of Broad Brook. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brandan Clark, Travis Clark and his wife Carolyn and two great grandchildren.
The family is very grateful to the staff of Parkway Pavilion, in particular the Reflections Wing for the compassionate, skilled and loving care they provided Ann during the last years of her life.
The funeral will be held May 7, 2014 at 9:30 am from the Browne Funeral Home, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in the Saint Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Avenue, Enfield. Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Enfield Street, Enfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corpus Christi School, 581 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT.
