Ann Kiczuk

Ann M. (Doering) Kiczuk, 96, of Newington, entered into eternal life on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Blair Manor Healthcare, Enfield, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Kiczuk. Ann was born on Dec. 26, 1919 in Glastonbury, CT a daughter of the late Frank and Teresa (Gatten) Doering. She was a graduate of Glastonbury High School, having resided in Newington for 40 years and prior to that in Hartford for 30 years. Before retiring many years ago Ann was employed with Lane Bryant for 15 years. She was involved with many local organizations over the years including the Newington Senior Center. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her loving family. Ann is survived by her three children; Ted Kiczuk and his wife Christine of Somers, Jim Kiczuk of Cobalt and Mike Kiczuk and his wife Kathy of Windsor Locks and Lori Kiczuk of FL, her beloved grandchildren; Anne Ontiveros, Christopher Kiczuk, Roseanne Bisaillon, Dan Kiczuk, Jim Smith, Michael Kiczuk and Caroline Kiczuk, her cherished great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Kiczuk, Eleanor Ontiveros, Allie Kiczuk, Jace Kiczuk, Collon Kiczuk and Lucy Bisaillon. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents Ann was also predeceased by a son Jack Kiczuk, three brothers; Joseph, William and Frank Doering and a sister; Mary Motowidlak. Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday May 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ann on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Church 426 Hazard Ave. Enfield (Please go directly to church). Interment will take place in the West Meadow Cemetery in Newington, CT. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the CT Humane Society 701 Russel St. Newington, CT 06111
