Beatrice (Lanctot) Lavoie, 99, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Sunday Aug. 30, 2015. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to the late Dominique Lavoie. Beatrice was born on November 12, 1915 in St. Constant De La Prairie, Quebec, Canada, to the late Dominia and Amanda (Soucey) Lanctot, and had resided in Enfield for the past 64 years. She received her teaching degree from Ecole Normale de Saint Jerome in St. Jerome, Quebec. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Enfield, and attended the Enfield Senior Center. In her leisure time she spent countless hours crocheting baby blankets for St. Francis Hospital. Beatrice is survived by her loving daughter Suzanne Morano & her husband Thomas, her two beloved grandchildren Jason Morano & his wife Anne and Kirsten Biggs & husband Stephen all of Enfield and her three dearly loved and cherished great grandchildren Samuel Biggs, Jacob Morano and Cecilia Morano, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family with interment in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
