Bernard Russotto Obituary

Bernard J. Russotto, of Hartford, passed from his earthly journey to eternal life on Sunday (April 17, 2011) at Hartford Hospital, Hartford. He was born on September 11, 1942 in Hartford, CT the son of the late Joseph B. and Anna (Lorino) Russotto and had resided in Hartford for the past 30 years and in Avon before that. He was a graduate of Enfield High School and then went on to serve his country honorably with the US Army. He was self-employed having owned and operated a Laundromat / dry cleaning business in Granby, CT for several years. Prior to that, he was employed by Best Cleaner at several locations in the Greater Hartford area. Bernard is survived by his beloved son and daughter-in-law; Anthony and Laura (Mitchell) Russotto of Burlington, CT, sister-in-law Muriel (Francoeur) Russotto of Bloomfield CT, a brother Dr. Joseph Russotto of VA, and lifelong friend Manuel Suarez of Hartford CT, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Dr. Samuel Russotto and Dr. Francis Russotto and a sister Catherine”Kay” Wicykowski. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Saturday (April 23, 2011) from 9:00 -10:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Prayer Service with Fr. John Weaver officiating. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery in Enfield CT. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society Centralized Memorial Processing Center 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
