Blanche Bouchard

Blanche M. (Lajoie) Bouchard, 77 of Suffield, CT beloved wife of 60 years to Adrian E. Bouchard entered into eternal life surrounded by her loving family on Wed. Aug. 16, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born on November 6, 1928 in Waterbury, Vermont daughter of the late George and Aline (Duhamel) Lajoie she had resided in Suffield for the past 2 years and in Enfield since 1961. Blanche was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She had a special Love for her grandchildren, puzzle books and embroidery and a member of St. Martha's Church, Enfield. Besides her beloved husband, Adrian, Blanche is survived by her loving family, son; Raymond Bouchard and his wife, Lori of Enfield, son; Robert Bouchard and his wife, Alexsandra of NY, son; Roland Bouchard of Enfield, daughter; Claire LaValley and her husband, Randy of Suffield and son; Allan Bouchard and his wife, Bethany of Enfield, her six loving grandchildren; Jason Bouchard, Jeffrey Bouchard, Nicole Bouchard, Travis LaValley, Carter Bouchard and Jackson Bouchard, a great granddaughter; Madelyn Bouchard, a brother; Richard Lajoie and his wife, Patricia and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Lucien and Normand Lajoie. Funeral services in celebration of Blanche's life will be held on Saturday Aug. 19, 2006 at 11:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will take place in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Blanche's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday Aug. 18, from 4 to 8 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
