Brian Murphy, II

Brian Andrew Murphy, of Springfield, MA and formerly of Enfield, CT, passed from his earthly journey, at the age of 28, on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1986 in Houston, Texas. Brian was the son of Cheryle A. (Morse) & Paul Pavlakis. He was a graduate of Enrico Fermi H.S. in Enfield and resided in Enfield most of his life. Brian was employed with Micro Abrasives Corp., Westfield, MA. He had a passion for old cars & motorcycles, he was also an avid Yankees, Jets and Bruins fan. Because of his loving and giving nature Brian was an unrestricted organ donor. Brian is survived by his loving wife Heather N. McCracken-Murphy, his adored & cherished daughters Madison Nicole and Caroline Ann Murphy, his mother Cheryle A. Pavlakis & husband Paul of Enfield, a sister Megan Spencer & husband Marc of Meriden, a nephew Aidan Spencer, a brother Alex Pavlakis, his canine buddy “Butter”, his in-laws Jim & Ruth McCracken Enfield and Brenda Meyers of Lenox, MA, 5 brother-in-laws, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his birth father Brian Andrew Murphy, Sr. at a young age and his paternal &maternal grandparents. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Friday April 3, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday April 4, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service both days at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will follow the service on Saturday in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the March of Dimes CT Chapter, 500 Winding Brook Drive, Suite 8, Glastonbury, CT, 06033.
