Carmelina “Carmy” L. (DiMaria) Kozaczka, of Enfield entered into eternal life at the age of 83 on Sunday June 27, 2010 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Carmelina was the beloved wife of 40 years to Joseph J. Kozaczka and daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Porcello) DiMaria. She was born on Aug. 3, 1926 in NYC, NY and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Prior to her retirement several years ago Carmy was employed as an Administrative Secretary with Enfield Federal Savings Bank for over 20 years and before that with Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. for many years until they relocated. She was a loving and devoted wife and homemaker. Her greatest joy was time spent with family and friends. Along with her husband, Joseph she is survived by a sister; Mary Mumblo of East Windsor, a brother; Liborio DiMaria of Enfield, nieces and nephews; Lynn Mumblo, Hollis Krause, Charles DiMaria, Paula Falkowski, Gail DiMaria, Laurie Senio, Liborio DiMaria and Julie Stahlhut and her very special friends Alva and Tony Torre. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law; Julie DiMaria. Friends are invited to gather with her family during calling hours on Wednesday (June 30, 2010) from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Carmelina on Thursday (July 1, 2010) at 9:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery in Enfield.
