ENFIELD – Carol R. (Duffy) Arena, 86, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 2, 2020. Born in Dunmore, West Virginia, daughter of the late Carl D. and Frances W. (Robinson) Duffy, she lived in Enfield for many years. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hartford. Carol worked for thirty-two years as a certified nurses aide for Genesis Health Care and was a communicant of St. Martha’s Church. She was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela M. Lepak who died in 1998. She leaves a husband of thirty-eight years, Francis M. Arena, two sons, Andrew T. Sterchak and Edward P. and his wife Susan Sterchak all of Southwick, a daughter and her husband, Loralyn and Daniel Ballou of Enfield, a daughter and son-in-law, Sam and Rita Hurley of Ludlow, MA, 8 grandchildren, Ryan Hill of Los Angeles, CA, Tom Pragluski of East Hampton, CT, Sara Walsh and her husband Brian of Shrewsbury, MA, Michael and Danielle Pragluski of Stafford Springs, CT, Samantha Connelley and her husband Steven of Braintree, MA, Brianna Hurly of Clinton, MA, Sydney and Avery Ballou of Enfield, CT, 8 great-children; Drew, Joey & Bishop Pragluski,, Katherine & Kristopher Walsh, Cailyn and Logan Pragluski, and Kailin Hill, along with two great great-grandchildren Paisley and Baylor Bryant . Services will be held Saturday November 7th, 2020 at Browne Memoral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road Enfield, CT with calling hours from 9-10 AM, with service following at 10 AM. Followed by burial at St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery.
