Obituary
Caroline “Kay” I. (Guzik) Pronsky, 92, of Enfield, CT, left her earthly life on Sunday (May 5, 2013). She was born August 4, 1920 in Springfield, MA to Jacob & Jadwiga (Mrozek) Guzik. Her greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cooking for the family. Caroline is survived by daughter Sandra Violette and husband Gerald of Enfield: daughter Judith Lagosh and husband Walter of Wethersfield: son Robert Pronsky and wife Marie of Windsor Locks: and grandchildren John Violette and wife Kacey of Enfield, Lisa Lagosh, Theresa Violette and husband Joe Ferrato of Arizona: also great-granddaughters Katie and Alex Violette, Sarah and Samantha Ferrato and a great-great grandson A.J. Shepard: also a sister Irene Margara of Brimfield, MA. She was predeceased by her husband John Pronsky, her parents, four brothers and four sisters. Caroline’s family would like to thank Parkway Pavilion & staff for the care of their mother, also a special thank you to Dr. Dushyant Parikh and his staff for all their care & support during this time of need. A Funeral Service will be held for Caroline on Wednesday (May 8, 2013) 10:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will follow in the New Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, MA. Relatives and friends may gather with her family prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Church 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT 06082 or the Office of Radio & Television, Archdiocese of Hartford, 15 Peach Orchard Rd.
