Catherine (Lucash) Sabellico, 82 of Enfield entered into eternal peace Monday July 28, 2008 at Evergreen Health Care, Stafford Springs. She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Vincent "Jim" Sabellico who passed Oct. 16, 2007. Catherine was born Dec. 7, 1925 in Mcadoo, PA daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Sabol)Lucash and resided in Enfield for the past 51 years. Prior to retiring in 1987 Catherine was employed by the Enfield Board of Education as head cook for 14 years at Enrico Fermi High School. In her leisure time Catherine enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, traveling and time spent with grandchildren. She was a member of the Enfield Senior Citizen Ctr., AARP and communicate of Holy Trinity Church formerly St. Mary's Episcopal, Enfield. Catherine is survived by her loving family; a son, Ronald Sabellico & wife, Linda of Hudson, FL, son, Vincent J. Sabellico, Jr. & wife, Linda of Rocky Hill, daughter, Tina Danforth & husband, Edward of Salem, daughter Cherrie Gauthier & husband, Albert of Winchendon, MA, and Janet Rousseau of Middletown, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Stephen Lucash and a sister, Susan Kanyock both of NY along with many nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by 10 siblings. Funeral services in celebration of Catherine's life will be held on Thursday July 31, 2008 with the procession forming at 10 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11a.m. with Fr. Edward Getz officiating from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Catherine's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday July 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
