Catherine "Meme" (Maciolek) Warsyski, of Enfield, whose journey in this life ended peacefully at the age of 102 on Wednesday January 7, 2009 at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare, Enfield. She was the widow of Alexander Warzyski (1939). Catherine was born on November 25, 1906 a daughter of the late Powell and Anna Maciolek in the Thompsonville section of Enfield. She was a lifelong resident and a communicant of St. Adalbert's Church. Prior to her retirement in 1971 Catherine had been employed for 48 years with Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. and during WW II at Colt Firearms, Hartford. She is survived by her two loving sons; Clare Warzyski & his wife, Maureen of Enfield and Frederick Warzyski & his wife, Peggy also of Enfield, her six beloved grandchildren; Deborah Hunter & husband, John; Donna Brown & husband, Neal; Susan Warzyski; Michael Warzyski & wife, Sheila; Robert Warzyski and Steven Warzyski; 7 great granddaughters.<br>Funeral Services for Catherine will be held on Friday January 9, 2009 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Adalbert's Church, Enfield followed by interment in St. Adalbert's Cemetery. Her family will receive relatives and friends Friday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Parkway Pavilion's Recreation Program 1157 Enfield Street Enfield, CT 06082.
