Christopher “Chris” D. Garrow, 49, of Enfield, passed from his earthly journey on Thursday (Oct. 23, 2014) at St. Francis Medical Ctr., Hartford, with loved ones at his side. Chris was born on Aug. 20, 1965 in Stafford Springs, CT, the son of Sarah (Johnson) Garrow of Enfield and the late Charles Garrow and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. He was employed as a grounds keeper at Seabury Retirement Community in Bloomfield, CT for the past 10 years. In his leisure time Chris had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening and hiking. Besides his mother, Sarah he is also survived by two sisters; Debbie Garrow and brother-in-law John Mays of Stafford and Beth Garrow of Enfield, a nephew Jacob Garrow and two nieces Rose and Emily Garrow, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was also predeceased by a brother Dennis Garrow. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Tuesday (Oct. 28, 2014) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
