Clara R. (Bianchi) Stauffer, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, April 16, 2016 at Parkway Pavilion in Enfield. Born in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Rose Bianchi and had resided in Enfield since 1955. She was a faithful communicant of St. Martha Church. Clara retired from the former Wallace Manufacturing in 1983. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Stauffer in 1965; grandson, Keith LaPlante in 2005 and her sisters, Alba and Rose. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Clara LaPlante and her husband, Fred of Orange City, FL, Kenneth Stauffer and his wife, Carmie of Enfield and Carol Sienko and her husband, Henry of Enfield; her grandchildren, Scott LaPlante and his partner, Lynn, Matthew Stauffer and his wife, Shannon and Steven Stauffer and his wife, Missy; granddaughter in law, Susan LaPlante; seven great grandchildren and a special sister-in-law, Barbara Anderson and her husband, Fred of Woodbridge. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 21, 2016 by 9:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels for a procession to St. Martha Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery. Clara’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082.
