Daniel Bezanker

Daniel Cleveland Bezanker, 70, of Enfield, CT entered into eternal rest, June 21, 2014. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 21 years, Jo-Ann (Maturo) Bezanker in 2010. Born October 20, 1943 in Hartford, Daniel was the son of the William and Ruth (Patterson) Bezanker. A graduate of Glastonbury High School, he earned his Associates of Computer Science from Asnuntuck Community College. Daniel served for 33 years with the United States Air Force, and the CT Air National Guard, retiring as a Tech Sargent in 2003. An avid car enthusiast, Daniel was a member of the R.P.M.’s Car Club of Enfield, and a volunteer with the Knights of Columbus Cruise Night of Windsor Locks. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at the Senior Center and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. Daniel is survived by his children, Bradford Bezanker of Rochester, NH and Marian Rolocut of E Windsor; his stepchildren, Christine Gonyea, Tina Maturo, Carrie Levesque all of Somers and Daniel Rushlow ; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also leaves his brother, Paul Bezanker of Lake Toxaway, NC along with many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Thursday June 26, 2014 at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, the Pastor Thomas Calderone officiating. Burial, with Military Honors will follow at Somers Center Cemetery, Somers, CT. Calling hours will be 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
