ENFIELD – David J. Fredrick, 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 7, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of M. Diane (LaFleur) Fredrick for fifty-six years. Born in Holyoke, MA, son of the late Gerald and Mary (Moriarty) Fredrick, he was a graduate of American International College with a Master’s Degree in Education. He taught at Enfield High School for twenty years and then focused his efforts on real estate sales and development, until retirement. His passions were fishing, golfing, hunting, boating and spending time with his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son David Fredrick and his wife Marie, his daughter Linda Fredrick and her fiancé Michael Fritze, three granddaughters, Ellen D’Angelo and her husband Kevin, Olivia and Gabrielle Fredrick. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Sr. Elaine LaFleur, his dear friend, Billy Villani and his beloved cat, Oliver. He was predeceased by his brother, G. William Fredrick and a sister Eileen Cebula. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkway Pavilion who cared for David, especially his friend Shanique. All services will be private. A Memorial Mass will be held at the family’s discretion. David’s family suggests that donations in his memory be made to the charity of your choice.
