Denise M. Mitchell

Denise M. (Weeks) Mitchell, passed from her earthly journey at the age of 56, from a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 14, 1964 in West Hartford, CT. She was the daughter of Philomena (Vignone) of Enfield and the late John A. Weeks. She had attended school locally and Enfield High School. Denise resided most of her life in CT and for 20 years in Florida. Where she was employed as a waitress at various restaurants and most recently in Springfield, MA. She had a passion for rabbits and many collectables. Besides her mother, Philomena she is also survived by a brother John A. Weeks, Jr. of Texas and a sister-in-law Jennifer Carr, three nephews Thomas, Jonathan and Tegan Weeks, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her husband William E. Mitchell in 2005. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 11:00 to 1:00 pm followed by a Prayer Service at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Interment will then be held in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
