Dolores "Del" M. (Callahan) Beaudry, of Enfield, beloved wife of Henry L. Beaudry, entered into eternal life on Tuesday March 31, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. She was born on April 17, 1929 in Akron, Ohio, one of seven children of the late Edward and Ann (Habig) Callahan and resided in Enfield for the past 46 years. Prior to retiring in 1987 Del was employed for 21 years with Stop-n-Shop Supermarket. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo and cards, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt her life revolved around her loving family and leaves them with many fond memories to cherish. Del was a member of the AARP Chapter 1209 and communicant of Holy Family Church.
Besides her loving husband of 57 years Del is survived by her three children; Corinne Graczewski and her husband, Steven of Ellington, Jacqueline Saydlowski and her husband, Joseph of Milford, Henry Paul Beaudry and his wife, Laura of Enfield, her 10 beloved grandchildren of which two; Michael and Misty Beaudry, were very special and helped to care for her during her illness, and seven great grandchildren. She also is survived by her siblings; Claire Morgart, Paul Callahan and his wife, Deanna both of MA and George Callahan and his wife, Patricia of OH, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Kathleen Callahan and Mary Smith and a brother, John "Jack" Callahan.
Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Saturday April 4, 2009 with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield to Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday April 3, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
