Donald R. Bisson
Donald R. Bisson, 86, of East Windsor, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born April 29, 1934 in Springfield, MA to the late Samuel and Laddy (Guay) Bisson. Don had resided in East Windsor for 16 years and in Windsor for 40 years prior to that. Don enlisted in the service and was proud to have served with the US Army between the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He spent many years in food service and many more in the financial service field. Don was a life long NY Yankees and Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed vegetable gardening in years past. Donald is survived by his four children; Ronald Bisson & wife Nancy of Newington, William Bisson & wife Jean of Windsor, Thomas Bisson & wife Monica of Stafford Springs, and Donna Bisson and significant other Jeff Dorman of Enfield, four grandchildren; Steven and Jeffrey Bisson, Taylor Bisson and Sam Bisson, and three cherished great grandchildren; Grayson & Sofia Swain and Emily Bisson. Besides his parents, Don was also predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years in July 2018 Joan (DiStefano) and a son Richard P. Bisson. Services for Donald will be private at the convenience of the family.Obituary
