Doriene L. (Gilbert) Mayhew, 84, of East Windsor, entered into eternal peace, Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Kimberly Hall, Windsor.
She was born in Stewartstown, New Hampshire October 16, 1923 daughter of the late Austin and Alice (Blodgette) Gilbert. Prior to her retirement in 1993 she was employed at Windsor Manufacturing for 15 years. She is survived by her 3 children, Linda Conroy and her husband Joseph, Beverly Shedrawy, and Michael Mayhew and his wife Brenda; a sister, Pauline Gilbert and her husband Dean; a brother-in law, Burley Hammond; her grandchildren, Cheryl Montalto and her husband Paul, Nathan Mayhew, Ryan Mayhew and his wife Vanessa, Robert Shedrawy and William Shedrawy; 3 great grandchildren, Paul Montalto, Katherine Montalto and Gisele Mayhew, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Carmen, Milton, Josephine, Harold, George, Velna, Levi, and a son- in law, Robert Shedrawy. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield; followed by a Graveside Service at 2:30 pm at Hazardville Cemetery.
