Dorothy E. (Brooke) Little, of Enfield entered into eternal rest on Friday (Nov. 9, 2012) at Rockville General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 48 years to the late Herbert J. Little and daughter of the late Horace J. and Grace (Catto) Brooke. She was born on Sept. 25, 1935 in Grand Mere, Quebec, Canada, grew up in Coventry, CT, became a U.S. citizen and resided in many Connecticut towns before settling in Enfield for 46 years. Dorothy retired from Electro-Flex Heat, Bloomfield after 30 years of service. Besides having a love for gardening, she enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles and Wednesday game night with her family. Dorothy is survived by her beloved children; Daniel M. Little of Washington, NC, Shelley A. Little of Granby, Sandra Tetreault and her husband Joseph of Enfield, Leah E. Little of Enfield and Lorie J. Little of Tolland. Her cherished grandchildren; Adam Nickerson, Christopher Little, Daniel Little II, Matthew Nickerson & wife Mandy, Michelle Little, Brandon Little, Jami Bailey & husband Rick, Erin Little, Jessica-Lynn Little and Catrina Little and her 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister; Margaret Alexander of Vernon. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law; Kim Little. Funeral services for Dorothy will be private at the convenience of her family.
