Dorothy Panella
Dorothy Quinn Panella, 89, of Suffield formerly of Enfield entered into eternal peace on Monday (October 28, 2013) at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael J. Panella in 1997. Dorothy was born on Dec. 19, 1923in Australia, the daughter of the late Thomas and Letisha Quinn and came to the United States in 1947. She was the former President and CEO of Panella’s Plumbing &Heating Co. in Enfield. Dorothy is survived by her loving family; her son Michael T. Panella and his companion Susie Locke of Enfield, her daughter and son-in-law Janice and Kevin Banning of Clinton, her brother Kevin Quinn in Australia, her two grandsons Mike Panella & his wife Shawna of Westbrook and Jessie Panella of Enfield. The family would like to thank the staff at Suffield by the River and a special thanks to Dr. Muzibul Chowdhury and staff. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday Oct. 31 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church 23 Simon Rd. Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery.
