After his retirement, they enjoyed travelling the USA and Europe, cruising, as well as winter vacationing in Florida collecting mugs wherever they went. In her spare time, Eda enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles, solving word puzzles, collecting Disney Snow White memorabilia, and, in her later years, playing games on a laptop and iPad. Eda is survived by her son, Thomas J. Basile of Enfield, and daughter, Maryann G. Basile and her boyfriend Richard Nowak of Wethersfield.
