Edward "Casey" Garvulenski

Edward “Casey” J. Garvulenski 58, of Grand Marsh, WI entered into eternal peace on Saturday March 4th 2017 after a long battle with COPD. Casey was born in Springfield, MA on June 5, 1958 and grew up in Agawam, MA. Casey graduated from Agawam High School, class of 1976 and UMass Stockbridge School of Agriculture. Casey enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at the beach. Casey then moved to Cape Cod and settled in South Dennis, MA. Casey worked for Evergreen Nursery and then became a self-employed Landscape Designer. Casey had been residing in Grand Marsh, WI for the past seven years. Casey is survived by his mother, Patricia (Bresnahan) Buchholz of Wilbraham, MA; sister Donna (Garvulenski) Luciani and partner Timothy La Brecque of Easthampton, MA; beloved nephew Anthony Luciani, of Agawam, MA; step-daughter Kristen Pelley and her son Devon of West Yarmouth, MA. Casey also leaves step-sister Susan Buchholz of Pittsfield, MA; two step-brothers, Jeffery Buchholz and his wife Tracey of Enfield, CT and Joseph Buchholz, Jr. and his wife Ann of Oxford, MA; Aunt Mary Gourinski of Enfield, CT; special cousin, Rozann Cupidi of Agawam, MA; special friend Michelle Showers of Grand Marsh, WI, along with several other nephews, cousins and friends. Casey was predeceased by his wife Theresa (DiDonato) Garvulenski; father, Edward W. Garvulenski, Jr. and step-father, Joseph Buchholz, Sr. as well as several other family members. Memorial donations may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Springfield Unit, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Rte. 134, South Dennis, MA.
