Elizabeth "Beth" Ruot

Elizabeth “Beth” S. (Enderle) Ruot, 57, of Broad Brook and formerly of Enfield, passed from her earthly journey on Sunday (Feb. 1, 2015) in Sharon, CT. She was the beloved wife of 41 years to James H. Ruot. Elizabeth was born on March 25, 1957 in Denver, CO, a daughter of the late Erwin A. Jr. and Susan H. (Hoadley) Enderle. Beth had attended Enrico Fermi High School and Asnuntuck Community College and resided in Broad Brook for the past three years and in Enfield prior to that. She was employed with Companion and Homemakers for several years and was owner and operator of the former Greyhound Bed & Breakfast. She was a very active member of WAG (We Adopt Greyhounds). Beth loved spending time with her grandsons. Besides her husband Jim, Beth is also survived by a son; James E. Ruot & his companion Melanie Bassett of Dayville, CT and two adored grandchildren, the pride and joy of her life, Brandon & Ethen Ruot and her dog “Jeg”. Also, her siblings; E. Arthur Enderle, III & wife Karen of Enfield, Scott H. Enderle & wife Susan of Enfield, Lawrence T. Enderle & wife Aniko of Vernon, CT, Daniel J. Enderle & wife Teri of Woodstock, CT and Susan E. Klecha & husband Adam of Enfield, along with several nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Thursday (Feb. 5, 2015) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society 171 Union St. Springfield, MA 01101 or the Felician Adult Day Center 1333 Enfield St. Enfield, CT 06082.
