Elizabeth A. “Betty-Ann” Lazarcheck, of Ellington, passed from her earthly journey, at the age of 61, on Sunday April 12, 2015 at Rockville General Hospital. She was born on September 16, 1953 in Hartford, CT, a daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Tonhauser) Lazarcheck. Betty-Ann was a graduate of Northwest Catholic H.S. and had resided in Ellington for the past 10 years and in Somers before that. She was employed with Aetna Life & Casualty for 28years. Betty-Ann had a passion for animals and she enjoyed cooking and baking. She is survived by a brother Thomas Lazarcheck & wife Hwacha of VA, a sister Jane Moore also of VA, and a brother David Lazarcheck & wife Susan of Enfield, along with a niece and a nephew in VA. Funeral Services for Betty-Ann will be private at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd.
