Emile N. Berube "Sonny" entered into eternal peace on April 3, 2018, reuniting with his beloved wife, Maureen and daughter, Kathleen. Emile was born on May 23, 1933 in Pittsfield, Ma. Emile moved to E. Hartford, CT & graduated from EHHS. Emile proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korea Era until his honorable discharge. Then moved to Windsor Locks, CT. Emile remained a longtime resident of Windsor Locks until moving to Yuma, AZ. then onto Ocala, FL Emile, fondly referred to as” Mr. B”, was an avid fisherman, hunter and camper. Emile was actively involved in coaching ice & indoor hockey. Emile was known for attending the children's sporting events to cheer on the kids. Emile was a vol. firefighter. He began his employment as a firefighter, working his way up to Lt. with Pratt & Whitney until his retirement. Emile is survived by one sister, Barbara Leone, his children, Theresa Berube, Joseph Berube, Martin Berube, Maureen Berube-Allen, Cecilia Stone, Eva Smith, Dominique Martin, Jessica Berube, Emile Berube, Jr. and 17 grandchildren. Calling hours are 9:00am - 10:30am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapel 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Following the calling hours a mass will held at St. Mary's church 42 Spring St. Windsor Locks, CT at 11:00 am. Concluding with burial and military honors in St. Mary's Cemetery 212 Spring St. Windsor Locks, CT.
