Eva Dauphin

Eva Marie (Charette) Dauphin entered peacefully into eternal rest in the arms of angels. She passed in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Eva was the beloved wife of 56 years to Anthony Dauphin and daughter of the late Albany and Leontine (Duchane) Charette. She was born November 17, 1936 in Fort Kent ME and lived in Somers CT for the past forty years. Eva’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. Besides her loving husband Anthony, Eva is survived by her 5 children, Corlene Roberts and husband Lou of Feeding Hills, MA, Gary Dauphin and wife Lori, of Somers, Janie Lacombe and husband Carl of South Hadley, MA , Audrey Dauphin of Enfield, and Anthony Dauphin, Jr. of Somers. Her grandchildren, Christy Roberts Zelinski and husband Mike, Kelsey Roberts, Corey Roberts, Derek Jaisulevicius, Brittany Jasiulevicius Caravello, Trent Dauphin, Talia Dauphin, Casey Lacombe and Colin Lacombe and great grandchildren, Daven and Kellen, Olivia and Roma Caravello. Eva also leaves her sisters Bernice Mangenello of New Britain, Bertha Roy and husband Romeo of Augusta, ME and a brother Richard Charette and wife Carol of New Britain, her sister- in-law Marie Charette of Sydney, ME and many nieces , nephews and wonderful loving friends. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Charette, and sisters Doris Beaulieu and Rita Charette. Special blessings go to our hospice nurse Karen, the Chaplin Kurt and social worker Sandy, and her doctor Ian Tucker and staff. Family and friends will gather on Monday, March 4, 2013 by 9:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels for a procession to St. Bernard Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Somers Center Cemetery in Somers. Eva’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 3, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Memorial Donations in Eva’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
