Frances “Fran” C. (Cuneo) Bibeau, of Enfield, entered into eternal life at the age of 79, with loved ones at her side, on Thursday May 30, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Frances was the beloved wife of 47 years to Roger R. Bibeau. She was born on Aug. 19, 1933 in New Haven, CT daughter of the late Frank E. and Esther (Fracchia) Cuneo. Fran grew up and attended schools in Manchester, CT and was a graduate of Manchester High School Class of 1951, she then resided in Enfield for the past 47 years. Prior to her retirement Fran had worked as an accounting clerk for Phoenix Mutual Insurance Co. and had also worked at Finast Supermarket, Pratt & Whitney, Sage Allen, and others. She had been a Girl Scout Leader and was very active and volunteered at St. Martha Church and School. In her leisure time she enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, traveling worldwide, taking religious pilgrimages, and golfing with Roger. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband Roger, she is survived by her two loving children; David Bibeau & his wife Maureen of Phillipsburg, NJ and Doreen Chimblo & her husband Arthur of Greenwich, CT, her four beloved grandchildren; Chelsea, Gillian, Stuart and James. Fran is also survived by a brother; Frank Cuneo & his wife Jackie of Manchester, along with several nieces and friends. She was also predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law; Robert & Gilda Cuneo. Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Sunday June 2, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 3, 2013 with the funeral procession forming at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Martha Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manchester, CT. Memorial donations in Fran’s memory may be made to St. Martha School 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield, CT 06082.
