Frances Maskowski

Frances M. (Maggio) Maskowski, 83 of Enfield, passed from this life to eternal life on Friday (May 23, 2008) at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Henry J. Maskowski who passed Dec. 11, 2007. Frances was born on July 13, 1924 in Enfield, CT daughter of the late Nicholas and Virginia (Alaimo) Maggio and had resided in Enfield most of her life and for 8 years in Agawam, MA. Prior to her retirement several years ago Frances was employed for many years with A&P Supermarket/Foodmart. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church. Frances was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, her family was her pride and joy. She was a very kind, gentle, caring and giving person putting others before herself and always there to lend a helping hand. Fond memories of Frances will be cherished by her loving family; a daughter, Ellyn Boyer and her husband, Roger of Niantic, a daughter, Susan Chase and her husband, Larry of Enfield, a son David Maskowski and his wife, Annie of E. Longmeadow, MA and a daughter, Carol Aldridge and her husband, Joseph of Agawam, MA, her six beloved grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Lillian Lamagna and two nephews, Mark and Robert Lamagna all of Enfield and their families and a sister-in-law, Gertrude Korona of Enfield and her family. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Francis Maggio. <br>Frances family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 10:30 &ndash; 11:30 am followed by a Funeral Service in remembrance of her life from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Animal Friends of CT, Inc. P.O. Box 370306 West Hartford, CT 06137.
