Frances (Noto) Michaud, born Francesca Theresa Noto, died peacefully in the arms of her children Friday December 17, 2004 at River Glen Health Care Center, Southbury, CT. She was born June 14, 1919 in Enfield, CT the daughter of the late Angelo and Giovanina (Canelli) Noto. Frances lived in Enfield for eighty years before moving to Woodbury, CT four years ago. She had been employed at the former Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co for many years and then the Albert Steiger Company where she retired from after twenty years of employment. Frances, a devout Catholic, had been member of St. Patrick's Church, Enfield and recently St. Theresa's in Woodbury. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Frances was predeceased by her husband Joseph C. Michaud in 1983. Frances was also predeceased by her sisters Katherine Filossie, Mary Noto, Sadie Noto, and Florence Lamana all of Enfield and one brother John Noto of Enfield.

Frances is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Marie and David Sullivan of Woodbury, CT, her son Ronald J. Michaud of Wolcott, CT her 3 grandchildren, Sarah and Daniel Michaud of Wolcott and Dean Sullivan of Woodbury, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Frances will be held Wednesday December 22, 2004 at 9 am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Patrick's Church Enfield. Burial will be in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery. Frances's family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday December 21, 2004 from 2 to 6 pm at the funeral home.
