Beatrice Anne Galimberti, 92, of Suffield, entered into eternal life on Wednesday November 29, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford. Born March 28, 1914 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Annunziata (Brigada) Galimberti. Prior to moving to Suffield in 1998 she had resided in Enfield all of her life. Beatrice began her career teaching at St. Joseph's & Higgins Schools, she also was employed by the CT. Motor Vehicle and Labor Depts., Hartford, she went on to work for the Springfield Armory from 1939 to 1957, as an Industrial Specialist and then taught for the Enfield School System for 10 years, following that she was employed by Travelers Insurance Co., and Combustion Eng. before retiring in 1979. She was a former member of the St. Patrick's Council of Catholic Women and St. Patrick's Women's Club, the National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees and the National Education Assoc.
Beatrice is survived by her nephews and nieces; Robert Spazzarini of Huntsville, Al, Ann Marie Lynch of Columbus, OH, Marianne Galimberti of Dracut, MA, Mary Bosch of Windsor, CT, Rev. Joseph DiSciacca of Bristol, CT and Larry DiSciacca of Simsbury, CT. She was predeceased by her sisters and brother; Josephine Bertocchi, Louise Spazzarini, Teresa DiSciacca and John Galimberti. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Beatrice's life will be held on Monday December 4, 2006 at 11 am in St. Patrick's Church 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT. Interment will take place in St. Patrick' King St. Cemetery. Calling hours are prior to the Mass from 9 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
