Genevieve M. Burgess 89 entered into eternal peace on Thursday April 21, 2005 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford surrounded by her loving family.Gen was born in Somersville the daughter of the late William and Mamie Gautreau Hogan and resided in Somers all her life. She was formerly employed by Somersville Mfg Coin Somersville and formerly employed by Cyril Johnson Mills
Stafford Springs. Gen was a lifelong member and communicant of All Saints Church Somersville. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond H. in 1988.Gen is survived by her beloved family a son and daughter in law Thomas and Barbara Burgess of Somers, and a daughter and son in-law Beverly and Lee Phelps of Enfield.She also leaves five beloved grandchildren Raymond, Sloane, Tara, and Kimberly, and five great grandchildren G.G.-Kayla, Madison, Hailee, Tommy, and Mallory. She also leaves many nieces and nephew's .Gen was predeceased by her brother Larry Hogan, and predeceased by two sisters Norma Smith and Greta Hogan.
