Gladys E. LaPine Paterwic 87 of Enfield entered into peace on Friday May 11, 2007 Gladys was born in Springfield the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Forkey) LaPine and was an Enfield resident for over fifty years and was a resident at Woodlake at Tolland for the last four years. She was formerly employed at the Enfield Central Library for many years as the children's section librarian. She was a member of St. Adalbert's Church. Gladys was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward in 1994. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Malack and companion Gerald Beaudry, and a daughter in-law Arlene Paterwic, also four grandchildren Jennifer Malack, Jason Malack, Emily Paterwic and Kate Paterwic.Gladys leaves many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Edward Gladys was predeceased by her son Donald. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Adalbert's Church Enfield. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Springfield. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Browne Chapels. Memorials may be made to Woodlake at Tolland recreation fund 26 Shenipsit Lake Rd. Tolland CT 06084.
