Harold Bartlett Obituary

Harold James Bartlett, 92, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest Monday (June 25, 2012). He was the beloved husband of sixty seven and a half years to Lillian Frances (Church) Bartlett. Harold was born in Nottingham, NH on June 21, 1920, the son of the late Lloyd and Hazel (Tuttle) Bartlett. He was a resident of Vernon for twenty years, Florida for thirty and had resided in Enfield for the past 11years. Harold was a graduate of Coe Brown Academy, Northwood, NH. He served his country honorable with the U.S. Navy during WW II. Prior to his retirement Harold was employed as a master mechanic for heavy equipment in Volusia County, Daytona Beach, FL for 15 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, FL and the International Union of operating engineers #478. Harold is survived by his son David J. Bartlett of Manchester, and two daughters Bonnie R. Hann & husband Leslie C., Jr. of Enfield and Carol J. Bentley & husband Robert of East Windsor, his five grandchildren Christopher M. Marszalek, Dawn A. Marszalek, Duane E. Bentley and Melissa F. Bentley & her companion Robert Fahey and Erick Bartlett, his three great grandchildren Brandon C. Marszalek, Lauren A. Marszalek and Robert L. Fahey, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Richard W. Bartlett and a brother Elwyn Bartlett. Funeral services in celebration of Harold’s life are private and at the convenience of his family.
