Hazel Grzybowski

Hazel A. Grzybowski, 74, of Enfield entered into Eternal Life on Wed. March 8, 2006 at Parkway Pavilion. Hazel was the widow of Henry W. Grzybowski who passed in June 2002. <br>She was born on Feb. 2, 1932 in St. Albans, VT daughter of the late Norman and Marjorie (Bruley) Barkyoumb and had resided in Enfield for the past 36 years and in New Britain before that. Prior to her retirement in 1997 Hazel was employed by Milton Bradley Co. E. Longmeadow, MA for 26 years. A devoted and loving mother, grand and great-grandmother, sister and aunt her life revolved around her family. She was a devout catholic and parishioner of St. Martha's Church. <br>Hazel is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Walter & Jean Grzybowski of Enfield, a son, Thomas Grzybowski of TN, six beloved grandchildren, Brenda, Vicky, Samantha, Jimmy, Rebecca, and Andrew, and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Lawrence and Bernard Barkyoumb, a sister, Lucille Deith all of Florida and many nieces and nephews.<br>She was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and Freddy Barkyoumb and a sister, Shirley Harwood.<br>Funeral services in celebration of Hazel's life will be held on Monday March 13, 2006 at 9:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Martha's Church, Enfield. Interment will take place in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Hazel's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday March 12, from 4 to 8pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. Greater Hartford 96 Oak St. Hartford, CT 06106. <br>
