Hilda Almodovar, 65, of Enfield, beloved wife of 46 years to Ramon Almodovar, entered into eternal peace, Thursday (August 14, 2008) at UCONN Medical Center, Farmington. Born September 17, 942 in Puerto Rico the daughter of Juan and Delores (Portugues) Nazario, Hilda was a resident of the Enfield community for 36 years. Prior to her retirement she had been employed for 20 years with Lego System, Inc. of Enfield. In her leisure time, Hilda enjoyed gardening, hiking and bird watching. Besides her husband, Ramon, Hilda is survived by her children; Iris Almodovar of Vernon, CT, Richardo Almodovar of Agawam, MA and Nancy DuPlessis and husband, Martin of Springfield, MA. Funeral Services for Hilda will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday (August 16, 2008) from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Calling hours are prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m.
