J. Brodtman Obituary

J. Bradley "Brad" Brodtman, of Enfield, whose earthly journey ended at the age of 53, entered into eternal life on Thursday January 15, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. He was born on March 16, 1955 in Hartford, CT son of Stanley A. and Marion (Light) Brodtman of Enfield. Brad had resided in Enfield most of his life. He was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High School Class of 1973 and went onto earn his bachelor's degree in Marketing from University of San Francisco and then a bachelor's degree in hospitality from UNLV, Brad had managed many fine dining restaurants from Hawaii to Cape Cod over the years. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and had played football for the Fermi Falcons during high school.
Besides his parents Brad is survived by a brother, Timothy Brodtman of Laconia, NH, two sisters, Nancy Schneider of Berlin, CT and Heidi Weston of Colchester, VT, his nieces; Kylie Rogers, Jennifer Brodtman, Angela Brodtman, Caitlin Schneider and Meghan Schneider, his nephew; Karl Brodtman, He also leaves his former wife and best friend, Minie Kamayana Brodtman along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services for Bradley will be held on Monday January 19, 2009 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St. Martha's Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield. Burial will be at the family's convenience. Relatives and friends will gather prior to the mass from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Fermi Falcons Football Booster Club C/O Lance Lavender 15 Cleveland St. Enfield, CT 06082.
