Jacqueline E. (Jackie) Kosiba, 79 passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Winsted, CT the same way she lived her life surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Weiss) Troughton and was an Enfield resident for fifty four years. Jackie was formerly employed by DCASMA in Hartford for thirty years and retired in 1987. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of thirty six years Walter S. Kosiba. She is survived by her loving daughter Sharon ( Niski) Smith and her husband Thomas of Torrington, CT, and two loving grandsons Joshua and Zachary Smith. Jackie also leaves her beloved niece Nancy Troughton and her three children Keith and his wife Stephanie, KC and Samantha Handley. She also leaves her nephew Thomas Troughton and many cousins in NY & NJ. Jackie was predeceased by her brother Thomas Troughton and her sister in-law Kathleen Troughton, also her nephews Billy and Ted Troughton. Funeral Services in celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 12:30 PM at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd Enfield CT. Jackie’s family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Chapels Wednesday from 11:30AM to 12:30 PM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s King St Cemetery Enfield.
