James “Jim” “Pop” W. Kraucunas, Sr., 77 of Enfield, passed into eternal rest on Thursday June 2, 2016 at home with his loving family at his side. Jim was the beloved husband of 56 years to Patricia ( Kozikowski) Kraucunas. He was born on January 11, 1939, son of the late James P. and Helen (Bores) Kraucunas. Jim was a graduate of Enfield H. S. Class of 1958. As a teen he worked at Scitico Market, then employed with Pratt & Whitney division of U.T.C. as a machinist, then Foreman and Supervisor for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father and Pop who will be especially missed by his grandchildren. Besides his wife Pat, Jim is also survived by his two sons; Jim Kraucunas, Jr. & wife Robin and Mitch Kraucunas & wife Patty all of Enfield, his six beloved grandchildren; Ashley, Daniel, Jeffrey, Stacey, Steffanie and Gregory, also a sister Marge Carroll & husband Tim of SC, his In-laws; Stan & Cathy Kozikowski and Carol & Al Drouin, along with several nieces and nephews. Services for Jim will be private at the convenience of the family. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements.
