James N. “Jim” Roberts, 65, of Palmer, MA and formerly of Enfield, CT entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on January 3, 1955 in Springfield, MA, the son of the late E.J. and Evelyn (Santanella) Roberts. Jim had resided in Palmer for the past 10 years and in Eastham, MA prior to that. A graduate of Enrico Fermi High, class of 1973, Jim then furthered his education having received a Bachelor’s Degree from Central CT State University. He was a retired traveling nurse after a career in nursing for many years. Jim was an avid gardener everything he grew turned into Gold. He had a love for dogs, especially all of his princesses. Jim could always be found in front of the TV on Sunday’s watching football. He also loved to collect precious medals & coins. Jim was “our” meteorologist, and he loved to travel the world and visiting the local casinos. Jim is survived by his two sons, Joel Roberts of Chesapeake, VA and Jeffrey Roberts of Palmer, MA, his siblings, Jeane Roberts of Somers, Marion Ouellette and husband Tom of Ellington and Steve Roberts and wife Debbie of Enfield, his nieces and nephews, Michele Bigda, Tami Kellam, Mike Ouellette, Debbie Forbes, Kate Roberts and Chris Roberts, and their families.
