James Dunne

James “Jim” F. Dunne, of West Haven, CT and formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday July, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on October 5, 1945 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Henry f. and Corrine E. (Wing) Dunne and has resided in New Haven for the past 20 years and in Enfield before that. Jim was a longtime carpenter in the area. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and walking the beaches. James is survived by his former wife Diane Dunne, a sister Mae Slupecki of Enfield along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a sister Corrine Mownn. Friends and relatives may gather on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
