Jane “Sophie” I. Hall, 93, of Suffield and formerly of the Central New York area entered into eternal rest on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at the Suffield House, Suffield. She was born on March 26, 1920 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late John and Helen Wierzbicki. Jane moved to the area recently to be closer to family. Prior to retiring many years ago she was employed as a records librarian for Bristol-Meyers Co. A dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her life revolved around her family, caring for her home and gardening. She was a lifelong member of the Iris Society. She is survived by her two children; Sandra Kearns & husband Jack of Enfield and Jon Hall & significant other; Leslie Burke of Ponte Vedre Beach, FL, a beloved grandson; Jason Michelsen and a cherished great-grandson; Aaron, her siblings Leo Wierzbicki and Alexandra Reese, along with several nieces and nephews. A visitation period with her family will be held on Tuesday (Oct. 8, 2013) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service with Pastor Barry Andrusik officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rome, NY.
