Jean Claude Paré 76 of Enfield passed away on Sunday (October 31, 2010) surrounded by his loving family at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was the beloved husband of Beatrice (Dube) Paré and son of the late Joseph and Marie-Anne (Gagne) Paré. He was born on June 24, 1934 in St. Hubert, Quebec, Canada and had resided in Enfield for over 35 years. Jean Claude was employed for many years with Lewis Machine, Co. and then for several years with Sterling Machine, Inc. He was a member of St. Martha’s Church and in his leisure time he enjoyed reading and was a handyman. Besides his beloved wife Beatrice of 54 years he is survived by his children John Paré and his wife Christine of Ellington, Sylvia Dobbins and her husband Robert of Waterbury and Martin Paré and his companion Laurie Schaefer of Enfield along with his beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters in the Province of Quebec, Canada many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with his parents Jean Claude was predeceased by a sister and a brother. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Thursday (November 4, 2010) from 5 to 7 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Friday (November 5, 2010) the procession will form at 10:30 am at the funeral home to St. Martha’s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Interment will take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Home & Community Healthcare Services, Inc. Hospice Program P.O.
