Jeanne (Pelletier) Bois, of Windsor, entered into eternal life, at the age of 87, on Friday October 4, 2013 at Bloomfield Healthcare. She was the beloved wife of the late Elie Bois. Jeanne was born on June 3, 1920 in Fort Kent, Maine, the daughter of the late Maxime H. and Helene (Ayotte) Pelletier. She resided in Maine for many years then moved to Manchester, CT, after retiring she lived in Arizona for 5years before moving back to CT having lived in Enfield & Windsor. While living in Maine Jeanne was employed with the Hartford Dress Co. for 20 years, she also owned and operated her own business Jeanne’s Upholstery for 18 years in South Portland upon coming to CT she was employed for 13 years with Modes Clothing in Manchester, CT before retiring in 1994. In her leisure time Jeanne enjoyed sewing, reading & doing puzzles, she was also an avid bowler. Jeanne is survived by her brothers, Philip Pelletier of Plainville, CT and Dana Pelletier of Standish, ME and a sister-in-law Joan Pelletier of Enfield, CT, along with many nieces and nephews and their families. She was also predeceased by two sisters; Louise Bois and Juliette Pelletier, two brothers; Vital Pelletier and Paul Pelletier, and two sisters-in-law; Mary Pelletier and Diana Pelletier. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday Oct. 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Brooklawn Memorial Park 2002 Congress St. Portland, ME. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels in Enfield, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donation in her memory may be made to the Department of Maine DAV P.O. Box 3415, Augusta, ME 04330.
