Joel O. Anderson, 77 of Worcester, MA, passed away on Tuesday (Jan. 14, 2014) at Worcester Hospital. He was born on June 13, 1936 in New Haven, CT, son of John W. and Susan B. (Buczkowski) Anderson. Joel served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid Red Sox fan. Joel is survived by his twin brother John, a brother Charles Anderson and a sister Marilyn Willard & husband John and a brother Carl Anderson, numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a brother Earl Anderson and a sister Norma. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2014) at 11:00 a.m. in South Cemetery in Tolland, CT with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund Clinic 450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA 02215-5450.
