Joel "Jack" H. Bouchard, 76, of Enfield, the beloved husband of 52 years to Florence (Blicht) Bouchard entered into eternal life on Wednesday January 23, 2008. He was born on June 29, 1931 in Ft. Kent Maine a son of the late Dr. Maxime and Willianna (Deschaine) Bouchard and had resided in Enfield for the past 49 years. He was a graduate of St. Francis High School, College in Biddeford, ME. Jack served his country honorably with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Prior to retiring in 1991 after 37 years of service Jack was employed with Hamilton Standard, Windsor Locks as a supervisor in the model shop. He was a member of the Enfield Elk's Lodge #2222, AARP Chapters 3062 and 1209, American Legion Post 200 and St. Martha's Church. In his leisure time Jack enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Elmcrest Country Club but his life revolved mostly around his loving family of which he leaves many fond memories for them to cherish.<br>Besides his wife, Florence, he is survived by his four children; Susan Pellegatto of Rocky Hill, Mark Bouchard and his wife, Karen of Plainfield, IL, Debra Dewey and her husband, Michael of Morrisville, VT, and Elizabeth Heldreth and her husband, Craig of McDonough, GA, his beloved grandchildren, Steven & Lauren Bouchard, Nicholas & Katelyn Dewey and Britany & Allison Heldreth, two step-grandchildren, Tessa Lockamy & Josh Dewey. He is also survived by his siblings; Joan Albert of Fort Kent, ME, Donald Bouchard of Lusby, MD, and Carroll Bouchard of Arlington, VA, two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Sharyn Blicht of Rocky Hill and Carol and Michael Mushnick of Millis, MA, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack along with his parents was predeceased by a sister, Rita Bouchard and a brother-in-law, Dr. Rod Albert. The funeral procession will form on Monday January 28, 2008 at 9am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Jack's life at 10 am in St. Martha's Church, Enfield. Interment with military honors will take place in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. His family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 27 from 4 to 7 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial donations in Jack's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 538 Preston Ave. P.O. Box 1004 Meriden, CT 06450-1004, American Heart Association 2550 US Highway 1 N. Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301 or charity of the donor's choice. <br>
