John S. Ciak, 45 of Enfield entered into eternal life on Thurs. July 26, 2007 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was the beloved husband of Kim (Turcotte) Ciak. John was born on Aug. 1, 1961 in Kingston, New York and resided in Enfield for the past 41 years. He was employed by Metal Finish Fabrications for 10 years. John was a great drag-racer for LVD for many years, enjoyed building model cars and working on automobiles, he wrote a monthly article for the Hazardville newsletter and knew everything about rock-n-roll.<br>Besides his wife, Kim he also leaves to cherish many fond memories his loving family; a daughter; Cassondra Turcotte, his father; Jack Ciak, his mother; Micki (Parmelee) Robbins and her husband, Eugene Robbins, paternal grandmother; Josephine Smith of Suffield, a sister; Sherri Ciak, a niece; Rachel, a nephew; Jacob, his father-in-law & mother-in-law; Albert & Gladys Turcotte of Enfield. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents; William & Florence Parmelee. John's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday July 29, 2007 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Services in celebration of John's life will be held on Monday July 30 at 10:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, followed by interment in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Brain Injury Assoc. of America 8201 Greensboro Dr. Suite 611 McLean, VA 22102 or to MADD 565 Washington Ave. N. Haven, CT 06473.
