John Krull

John Krull, 79 of Enfield passed from this life on Sunday Sept. 30, 2007 at his home. John was the beloved husband of the late Claire (Gilbert) Krull. He was born on Feb. 24, 1928 in Port Austin, Michigan, son of the late Peter and Mary (Shall) Krull and had resided in Enfield since 1969. John served his country honorably with the U.S. Army & U.S. Navy for over 20 years during W.W. II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Prior to his retirement many years ago John was employed by K F Brick Co., East Windsor for 20years. He is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Love of Enfield, a son, Mike Kozak and his wife, Lisa of Enfield, a son, Steve Kozak and his wife, Marie of TX, his seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his four sisters, Carol Maguire, Ceceil Gordon, Mary Craig and Theresa Luchtman all of MI. and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by a brother, Ed Krull and two sisters, Nellie and Dorothy Hatch. Funeral services for John will be held on Thursday Oct. 4, 2007 at 11:00am from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield with the Rev. Greg Stokes officiating. John?s family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00am. Interment with military honors will follow in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
