John Pasini

John F. Pasini, of Enfield, entered into eternal life at the age of 73 on Thursday (Oct. 17, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr., Hartford. John was the beloved husband of 50 years to Rosa (Antonini) Pasini. He was born on September 28, 1940 in Springfield, MA, son of the late Frank J. and Florence (DeCaro) Pasini and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Prior to retiring in 1992 John was employed for 34 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft E. Hartford. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School Springfield, MA and attended UConn. He was a member of the Enfield Hunter’s Club, Suffield Sportsman Assoc., Associate member of the Rinaldi-Roy Fede Post 17, and the John Maciolek Post 154 American Legion, Enfield. John was an avid fly fisherman, enjoyed pheasant hunting, playing cards and was an avid NY Yankee’s and NY Giants fan, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Besides his wife, John is survived by his children: John Pasini of Ellington, Elizabeth Pasini of Windsor Locks and Francis Pasini & his wife Jane of Tolland, his four cherished grandchildren; John, Derek, Grace & Matthew. He is also survived by his brother; Frank Pasini & his wife Rosemary of Enfield along with many nieces & nephews and special friends Sam Peraro and Ed Gutkowski. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Sunday Oct. 20, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. The funeral procession will form at 10:00 a.m. on Monday Oct. 21, 2013 from the funeral home to St. Patrick Church, Enfield for a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donation in his memory may be made to the American Heart/Stroke Association, Founders Affiliate P.O.
